Ovie Muntean

Ovie is the Chief Advancement and Operating Officer of Northwest Battle Buddies. On a daily basis Ovie is serving our American Heroes as they learn to live life with freedom and Independence with a professionally trained service dog at their side.

Born in Transylvania, Romania Ovie was the son of John Muntean. John began a hunger strike at an international conference in Madrid, Spain, in protest of Romania’s communist regime of Nicolae Ceausescu. In 1981 John Muntean led 50 family members to the U.S. as thousands more Romanians fled the country. Ovie Muntean and his wife Adrianna are now both U.S. citizens and business owners and have three children who they said they have brought up to love their country.
